WB URETHANE – Gloss

WB Urethane is a durable, single component, nano technology, water-based urethane used for antiquing over the Roll-Top System or as an optional topcoat sealer over the TerraStone System. It offers a lower gloss and less odor during application when needed for sensitive areas such as hotels. SB Urethane is also used with the TerraStone System and offers extra durability and higher gloss. TerraStone System Instructions: Apply using a 3/4” nap roller over the TerraStone System. Dip and roll out of a 5-gallon bucket to saturate the TerraStone, then backroll to even it out. The first coat over the TerraStone Aggregate should cover approximately 150 sq. ft. per gallon. The second coat should cover approximately 200 sq. ft. per gallon. Dry to touch in 1-2 hours. Roll-Top Antiquing Instructions: To use WB Urethane for antiquing over Roll-Top, first mix it with 2 parts water (ex. 1 gallon WB Urethane to 2 gallons water) and with 2-4 oz of our Color Antique Powders per gallon of total liquid. Normally 4 oz. of Color Antique Powder per gallon of total liquid works best to achieve the antique color desired in one coat. A second touchup coat at 2 oz. of Color Antique Powder per gallon can be used to add more color to light spots where needed or to apply a second coat. Apply using a pump-up sprayer or cup gun sprayer to achieve the desired look. A battery powdered backpack sprayer achieves better color consistency compared to the inexpensive 2 gallon pump-up sprayers. When going over stamped concrete, spray to completely wet the surface and allow to puddle in the low texture. After approximately 30 minutes, walk around with a ¾” nap roller to remove any deep puddles remaining in the low texture. The color should already be set underneath the puddles.
