ROLL-TOP CEMENT – Part A and B (1.5 Gallon Kit)

Roll-Top Cement is a revolutionary cementitious overlay material used to restore faded, stained, or discolored concrete to a like new condition. Roll-Top is made with real cement and can be applied in many colors using a paint roller or special sprayer to provide a natural or decorative concrete appearance. It can be used to restore stamped, smooth, or broom finished concrete. Before applying Roll-Top Cement, it is recommended to apply Moisture Vapor Primer as a prime coat. After applying Roll-Top, it can be antiqued, stained, or dyed to achieve the color or decorative look desired. Mixing Instructions: (1). To mix one 1.5 gallon kit – In a 5 gallon pail, add one bag of Part A and one container of Part B. (3). Next, add 2.5 quarts of water. (4). Next, add 16 oz. of water to the Part B container, put the lid on and shake. Add this mix to the 5 gallon pail. (5). Mix thoroughly for 1 minute using a drill motor and a 5 gallon size mixing paddle. (6). Add the Roll-Top integral color desired and mix again for 3 minutes (To make a larger batch double or triple the instructions above.) Note: If using powder iron oxide cement pigments such as our Integral Color Pigments, use gray cement Roll-Top. If using liquid pigments use white cement Roll-Top. After mixing all of the ingredients, pour the mixed Roll-Top Cement through a 5 gallon elastic top nylon bag paint strainer into a clean 5 gallon bucket. This will avoid getting color streaks of unmixed pigment while rolling. Application Instructions: Apply Roll-Top Cement using a 3/8” – 1 1/4” nap paint roller depending on the roughness or texture of the surface. Use 1 ¼” nap when going over stamped concrete. Dip the roller in the 5-gallon bucket to begin rolling. Brush edges either as you roll or ahead of the roller. Roll thin to get as much coverage as possible up to 400 sq. ft. per kit. Back roll each section to avoid leaving any ridges from the edge of your roller. Dry to touch in 30 – 60 minutes. Roll-Top can be antiqued, dyed, or sealed after 2-4 hours of curing. Coverage rate = approximately 300-400 sq. ft. per 1.5 gallon kit. Special spray equipment is also available for spraying Roll-Top on indoor or outdoor jobs. For antiquing instructions see the WB Urethane Technical Data Sheet or the Roll-Top Training Guide under the Antiquing section. See the sealer section for the recommended sealer to use. Roll-Top training videos are also available on our website Roll-Top page at www.stonecretesystems.com or Youtube.

Small sample mixing instructions: To make a 1 ½ quart mix for samples, mix 32 oz. by volume of part A, 6.5 oz. of part B (mix part B thoroughly in the bottle before measuring out the 6.5 ounces), 24 oz. of water and the desired powder or liquid integral color. This sample size will cover approximately 75 – 100 square feet. After measuring out a sample, mark the bag and bottle as a partial kit to use for future samples. This sample batch will make a 1/4 kit of Roll-Top so you can add 1/4 of the color suggested for a full kit.
