FC RESURFACER FINE
FC Resurfacer Fine is a fast cure, just add water, polymer cement, used for patching and resurfacing concrete. It can be applied from 0-1/4” thick for large areas and up to 1” thick for small areas or holes. Working time is approximately 15 minutes. Mixing instructions: Mix 3 quarts of water per 24 lb. bag. Mix in a 5-gallon bucket using a drill and 5-gallon size mixing paddle. Add up to 8 oz. more water if needed. Spread immediately after mixing using a trowel or squeegee. Options for easier workability: Add ½ oz. of FC Flow for a wetter mix when spreading on a horizontal surface. Do not add FC Flow directly to the water. Add it after mixing the FC Resurfacer with the water. For vertical patching do not add any FC Flow. For a longer working time up to 45 minutes (instead of 15), add 1/4-1/2 oz of FC Powder Retarder to the water before mixing in the FC Resurfacer Fine. FC Resurfacer without FC Retarder Powder added should be dry within 30 minutes of application and ready to grind within 1 hour or more. FC Resurfacer with the FC Retarder added will take a little longer to set up. For a smaller batch, mix 3-4 parts FC Resurfacer Fine to 1 part water. Add a pinch or two of FC Flow for a wetter mix or a pinch or two of FC Retarder Powder for more working time. Lightly dampen the surface with water (no puddles) and immediately pour the mix out of the bucket and begin spreading to the desired thickness. Do not use water on the surface if patching or resurfacing over Moisture Vapor Primer. Spread the FC Resurfacer over the dry or slightly tacky primer without spraying water for the best bond.
